Homeschooling:I try to spend one-on-one time with our youngest child before I start the more intense schooling with the others so she sees that she is important to me.  Then she can face the day secure and ready to obey and be separated from me a little.   Then I move up the ladder to the other preschooler and spend time with him.  It is easy to teach a 3 or 4-year-old beginning reading with phonics flashcard

Don’t be shocked when your little cute is impolite at the table.  We’re all born that way!  We all have to learn that we were not born vikings. Sometimes when my kids are not nice at a mealtime I take away their food and drink and say they can have it back when they apologize and say “Thank you!” and “May I please have it back?” Too little to talk? They can do the sign language
