Q: This is my first time to home-school all three of my kids.  I am nervous but excited.  Mostly I am worried about discipline.  Could you give me an idea of class rules or some system to keep order? Q: Hey, Kathy – a departure from our recent topic. My baby isn’t enjoying blanket time, and he spends about 50% of the time crying and sobbing and trying to crawl off.  Today was especially traumatic; I think he played about 8 minutes (out of 20) and spent the rest hysterical, sopping with tears and sobbing for me constantly. He didn’t respond if I tried to show him his toys or get him interested

Homeschooling:I try to spend one-on-one time with our youngest child before I start the more intense schooling with the others so she sees that she is important to me.  Then she can face the day secure and ready to obey and be separated from me a little.   Then I move up the ladder to the first-grader and spend time with him.  It is easy to teach a 3 or 4-year-old beginning reading with phonics flashcards, so
